By accessing or using Lucenne EDU, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you use Lucenne EDU through a school, employer, training program, or other organization, your access may also be subject to that organization's rules and agreements.
1. Acceptance
These Terms apply to the Lucenne EDU learning application, practice cases, course and package content, AI-supported coaching features, feedback tools, progress dashboards, subscription flows, and related services.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the service.
2. Educational Purpose and No Operational Reliance
Lucenne EDU is provided for education, training, evaluation, and skill development. It is not a substitute for official coding resources, payer policies, employer policies, compliance review, legal advice, medical advice, certification guidance, or professional judgment.
AI-generated coaching, scoring, recommendations, summaries, and feedback may be incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated. You are responsible for independently verifying any output before using it in billing, reimbursement, audit response, compliance, employment, or production coding workflows.
3. Accounts and Authorized Access
- You must provide accurate account information and keep your sign-in credentials secure.
- You may access only courses, packages, cases, organizations, and dashboards that are assigned to you or included in your subscription.
- If you use the service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to do so.
- Lucenne may suspend, limit, or terminate access for misuse, security concerns, nonpayment, or legal compliance reasons.
4. AI-Supported Coaching
The AI coach is designed to guide learning through prompts, explanations, hints, review, and feedback. It is not intended to provide final coding determinations or professional advice.
Lucenne may process your case activity, responses, verification attempts, chat interactions, timing, and progress history to operate the coach, generate feedback, improve reliability, and provide learner and instructor insights.
5. Use Restrictions
You agree not to:
- Copy, distribute, scrape, publish, or create derivative works from cases, coaching workflows, answer logic, or other protected content without written permission.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, bypass, or attempt to extract source code, prompts, models, scoring logic, or protected business logic.
- Submit protected health information, patient identifiers, medical records, or regulated health data.
- Upload or share confidential employer, payer, client, school, or institutional records unless you are expressly authorized to do so.
- Upload licensed codebooks, payer manuals, proprietary manuals, or third-party materials unless you have the right to share them.
- Use the service or its outputs as the sole basis for billing, reimbursement, audit, compliance, employment, or clinical decisions.
- Interfere with security, availability, access controls, telemetry, or normal service operation.
6. Intellectual Property
Lucenne EDU content, cases, coaching logic, software, design, workflows, reports, dashboards, and related training materials are owned by Lucenne or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. No ownership rights are transferred to you.
7. Submissions and Feedback
If you submit messages, answers, feedback, notes, issue reports, or other materials, you grant Lucenne permission to use them to operate, maintain, secure, support, analyze, and improve the service. You represent that your submissions do not violate these Terms or the rights of others.
8. Subscriptions and Third-Party Services
Some access may depend on paid plans, organizational assignments, or third-party payment services. Payment processors and external sites may have their own terms and privacy practices. Lucenne is not responsible for third-party content, policies, or systems outside our control.
9. Privacy and Data Practices
Information is handled as described in the Privacy Policy and Cookie Notice. Those documents explain how Lucenne collects and uses account, learning, interaction, telemetry, and technical data.
10. Disclaimers
The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Lucenne does not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free output, specific certification outcomes, employment outcomes, reimbursement outcomes, compliance outcomes, or performance improvements.
11. Limitation of Liability and Indemnification
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lucenne will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or similar damages arising from use of the service. You agree to indemnify Lucenne from claims arising out of your misuse of the service or violation of these Terms.
